    We only have Free Level.

    We don’t use any other specific redirection plugins.

    I’ve followed these instructions;

    https://simple-membership-plugin.com/configure-login-redirection-members/

    I’ve chosen the option to have Users redirected to the last page where they Logged in, however newly Logged in Users are always redirected to the site Homepage.

    This is the case after clearing the browser cache AND after purging all site caches in LiteSpeed cache.

    Probably related, I also notice after logging in with the correct User data, the processing often just continues until you refresh the browser (Safari and Brave), only then do you see anything at all, and in my case it’s the homepage not the page the visitor was viewing when they chose to login.

    I noticed this “hanging processing” even before I installed the redirect addon.

    Visitors should not need to refresh the browser, something is “sticky” in the processing of the redirection.

    Suggestions please?

    Thank you for your testing, I do appreciate your diligence, but switching themes on our live site is too dodgy.

    Perhaps you could chose Neve theme on you development site to run the tests you suggest.

    This bug is taking too long to resolve, so I’m afraid I’ll have to delete the Redirect addon altogether.

    Thank you again.

    Hi, I installed the following theme https://ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/neve/.

    I tested the login menu I added to the top right hand corner and it redirected me to the URL configured in the redirect addon. So I can confirm that the redirect addon is working on the login menu. I also tested one of the post protected and it returned me back to the post I logged in from as per the settings in the addon. I can also confirm this is working for me. Now, I have not done anything fancy with the theme and or even changed the default settings. But what I tested worked for me.

    Kind regards.

    Okey-dokey: Noted for future reference.

    My Neve child theme is quite modified, and I also read today that the recent WP “Block Widget” has wrecked many site’s widgets, doubtless that will have something to do with it. I’ve installed the Classic Widget plugin to get round that “new feature”.

    Let’s call this resolved after your labours 🙂
