• Hi – first off, I’m a big fan of the Redirection plug in and have been using it for almost two years.

About a month ago, I started having an issue with it though. I have been unable to backup my website because it seems that the redirection plugin is interfering. The error message stated “Error: A database query has failed.” and then mentioned “wp_redirection_404.MYD”

Here are two screenshots of the error messages I’m getting on cPanel and the BackUpWordPress plugin: http://imgur.com/a/DZWNf

    Any advice would be appreciated.

I don’t think this is caused by Redirection itself, but it seems like something has gone wrong with your MySQL table for the 404 log. You may need to repair the table through MySQL.

If that doesn’t help then you may need to export data from Redirection (export as JSON from the import/export page), then from the settings page press the red delete button and then reactivate the plugin. This will delete and recreate the tables. You can then re-import the JSON file to continue.
