Redirection does not work

Hi there,

I am new to redirections but it does not seem to be very difficult when I researched about it.

I tried to redirect this page https://portal.binarystream.com/ to this page https://portal.binarystream.com/help-desk

I also tried using Match – URL only

but what I got when I checked “check redirect” was

Check redirect for: https://binarystream.com/https%3A//portal.binarystream.com/
404
https://binarystream.com/https%3A//portal.binarystream.com/

An error page was returned. This is unlikely to be a problem with Redirection. What does this mean?.
