I am experiencing a strange redirection issue. This is for a page that is set to be available to all users, but for some reason it is redirecting to a Login page. The site is using WP Job Manager as well as TranslatePress and the page in question only experiences this issue when the Norwegian version of the page is accessed.
Until I read through the forum to see if anyone else is having the same issue, I had been using the latest version of Ultimate Member but the site was running so excruciating slowly, I saw your notes about newer versions having database issues (and I tried the functions fix but that caused more problems) so I rolled back to version 2.2.1 and that seemed to help the slow issue. However, the redirection issue occurred before I rolled back and is still occurring.
Is there a reason it would redirect a page that is only in a translated version?

A quick follow-up, I went through each sentence in the aforementioned page and determined that a link to a page with members-only permissions was the cause of the problem. However, this was not occurring in the English version of the page, only the Norwegian. I resolved it by removing that link, but my question now is: if any page on the website contains a link to a page that requires being logged in, why would it automatically redirect that original page with the link and only redirect it when viewed in the other language? I am using TranslatePress to create the multilingual site but do not believe that TranslatePress controls permissions.

    Hi @metisdreams

Unfortunately, we haven’t tried it with TranslatePress. You can check our doc on how to translate the plugin: https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/1449-how-to-translate-plugin

Thanks for your reply. But should having a link on a publicly available page cause that page to not be visible to everyone? That is the essence of the question – why is the content on a page (in this case, a link to a restricted page) causing it to not be available for viewing (and automatically redirect the unrestricted page) when the page itself is marked as non-restricted and available to everyone?

    Hi @metisdreams

Does the issue still occur when TranslatePress is disabled? Maybe it is a compatibility issue with TranslatePress.
