redirection issues

I’ve been into SEO for a while and I’ve recently decided to set my redirections in order. So here’s what I’ve done:

– my blog is located here: http://something.com/style

– my domain is: http://something.com and it is redirected to http://something.com/style (I know this redirection wastes some power coming from links but this is another issue)

– another option is http://www.something.com and it redirects to http://something/style

– and now I want to redirect http://www.something.com/style to redirect to http://something.com/style but somehow it doesn’t work. how can I set it?
