I am also facing the same issue, might be the plugin have conflict with latest version of either contact form 7 or wordpresss
Just wanted to say that after looking at the developer’s response on another post, I checked my site for JS errors and I found a few. Once I resolved them, the form began working again. Just fyi.

Can you please also share that post link here too, so that I can also resolve this issue at my end. Have you modified the core plugin files to resolve it ?
My JS files get blocked due to network issue. Due to IP blacklisted on server I’m facing this issue. After a long investigation I found that the core JS file for Contact Form 7 is not loading properly. Now, I’m using a static IP and everything working fine for me.
