Redirection Plugin Installation Confusion

    The instructions for this plugin say to unzip the “redirection” folder and upload the “redirection” directory. Which file is the directory? “redirection.php”? “redirection-admin.php”? None of them worked so I simply uploaded the zipped version. Why not make the instructions simple?

    The plugin is simple to install:

    Download redirection.zip
    Unzip
    Upload redirection directory to your /wp-content/plugins directory
    Go to the plugin management page and enable the plugin
    Configure the options from the Manage/Redirection page

    When you unzip the plugin you should have a redirection directory with a bunch of files inside the directory. You need to upload the directory, not a file. This is the same as any WordPress plugin, so if you’ve installed others then do the same you did with those.

    Alternatively just install the plugin directly from the plugin browser in WordPress.
