Hello, I’m total green with these things. I have added the free ARMember plugin to my new site, and I got the Paypal sandbox working, but the redirection rules and couple of pages seems not working. Or, I just can’t get them work. The site has only 1 paid plan(recurring), no free member plan.
Here are the probs & questions:

    1. How can I get the customer redirected to the members area from the paypal? Clicking the “return to merchant” button on Paypal, it directs to the home page. I have this rule: “Redirection after Membership SignUp -> Specific Page -> Thank You page.

1B. Because I have only one plan(the paid one), I assume I use the same redirection rules for the “After Basic SignUp Redirection Rules” as above?

    2. On Edit profile page is the link “view profile”, but it just returns back to edit profile page.

    3. The profile page has just this code: [swpm_profile_form], and there is nothing about it in the admin area to edit it. Simply don’t get it – please explain what to do.

4.It seems I don’t get it what is the purpose to have both Login and Member login pages? The member login has only this form, nothing else: [swpm_login_form], so it is a useless page, or? The login page form works though.

    Thanks,

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello,

    1. & 1B, I understood your concern and when registering the member with the PayPal payment gateway, PayPal does send the payment data to your website using IPN (Instant Payment Notification) which is communicate server-to-server so, due to that it will not possible to auto login the user after returning back to the website and therefore it may not be redirected to the page you are referring to. Also, if the page you are redirecting has a set restriction then, I recommend you to set the non-restricted page so, the page will be redirected as set in the Redirection Rules.

    2. Regarding “View Profile”, this may happen due to you may have not enabled the “Social Feature” module from ARMember Lite -> Addons page. So, kindly enable the Social Feature module and let me know how it goes.

    3. Regarding [swpm_profile_form] shortcode, the provided shortcode is not the ARMember profile page shortcode. The ARMember profile page shortcode is given below:
    [arm_template type=”profile” id=”1″]
Also, if you are checking with the administrator role user login then, you may need to enable the “Display Administrator users” option from ARMember -> Profile & Directories page click on the “Edit Profile template” link, and on the right side “Other Settings” tab.

    4. Regarding multiple pages for login, as I understood from your request you are referring to the multiple pages for login if so then, please note that, ARMember does create one login page while installing the plugin, the shortcode you are referring to may of other plugins which you have installed at your website and created the login page at your website.
ARMember Login form shortcode is: [arm_form id=”102″]

    Thanks

    Hello,
#1 Yes, changed settings, and it works now fine.
#2: The profile page works now.
#3: If I do this: “enable the “Display Administrator users” option from ARMember -> Profile & Directories page click on the “Edit Profile template” link, and on the right side “Other Settings” tab.
can’t go to the edit profile page anymore as a paid member, but will be forwarded to the log in page where is the statement “You are already logged in”.
So, I changed the setting as default, and now every page works as should.

    Thanks for your help.
