Redirection to other website

The option Redirection on de General tab seems not to work.
I do get the Maintenance Mode, and the link is displayed.
But I don’t get an automatic redirection to that link.
Is this correct?Regards,
P.S: I use WP Maintenance Mode version 2.0.9

The “Redirecton” option is used just for logged-in users that are trying to access the dashboard (wp-admin) and have no access. So… it is not possible to use it on the frontend of your blog/website.
If you want just to redirect the users to other website… I think you don’t need a plugin. Try these examples:
