Redirects stops working

    Hi.

    I’ve recently changed my business name and therefore also domain and URL. I’ve set up redirects from every page on my old site (https://vektropol.dk) to my new site (https://moelskov.dk) and it works great for a couple of days. After that the redirects stops working and I have to login, clear the cache and then it works again.

    It seems odd. What can I do?

    Hi,

    Well, caches can interfere with redirects and it really depends on what cache plugin/service you use. You might want to just disable cache on the old domain/website since not much will get loaded anyway.

    Or in your case, since you want to redirect everything, you might want to look into setting up a domain .htaccess redirect instead since that will redirect everything (images, files etc. included) and is way more efficient since WordPress doesn’t even have to be loaded.
