Reduce space between menu/logo & widget?

Hi,
I have a rather large (in my opinion) and unwanted space between my logo/main menu on the top of my Home Page and the widget under it. I can’t figure out how to reduce that space. I’ve tried looking for a padding setting or something like that with no success. The url to my site is http://www.mypilotpro.com and I have also provided a picture of what I’m talking about. The picture highlights the space I want removed/reduce. I am obviously not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I have to imagine there is a simple way to reduce this unwanted space?

I did what you said to do and nothing changed? I was able to learn a bit about Chrome Developer Tools and can see what it would look like with no padding…this is exactly what I’m looking to get done. Thanks for pointing me in that direction!
I downloaded “Simple Customer CSS” and have included a picture of it saying that my “Custom CSS updated successfully”, However nothing has changed? Do you know what I may be doing wrong?
