That is very odd. I have a copy of that theme, I’ll take a look immediately.

Agreed very odd. I chatted with developer and he said he has many installations working just fine. So I went in and tested all the plugins and Redux Lite is the only one that when I deactivated it, it allowed me to operate the features.

FYI – the theme version I’m using is 3.0.4
Ok, so I tested it locally and wasn’t able to reproduce any blaring bugs, but I did push a number of updates today, so the problem was probably resolved there.
Would you please do the following and let me know if you have any additional issues?
1. Deactivate & Delete Redux
2. Go to Plugins -> Add New and install Redux
This should fix the problem, but if it doesn’t please do let me know.
Hi Dear @dovyp I face same problem today and I already apply this step
1. Deactivate & Delete Redux
2. Go to Plugins -> Add New and install Redux
But still now it’s not working I face same error
Please Help Me
My Website is : https://montessority.com/
Actually all, before anything please install this plugin: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/
I’m pretty sure your “theme” functionality may be related to that. Which means the developer needs to update their code. 🙂
Give that a try, and if it doesn’t work, reach back out.
Please check your Mail, I already send you access, and I already this this plugin https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/
but still same error

Thanks for your help. But after a truly nightmarish experience caused by the faulty WordPress 5.5 update breaking my site, I have reverted to a previous version. I intend to stay on that former version until I know the WordPress, as well as my theme developer have resolved ALL the issues.
Thanks again for digging into these issues.
FYI – I tried using the enable jquery migrate helper yesterday but it didn’t work.
@bcarse I am sorry you’ve had so many issues. If you’d send me a copy of your theme I can try and debug from my end to see if I can help fix some of the issues.
The problem with WordPress 5.5 is it auto updates plugins. So if you had some older plugins installed and didn’t turn off the auto updates for that plugin, it does it for you. Hence why lots of people are having issues. 🙁
That being said, auto-updates should have been installed from day one, so it’s a change that we’ll all have to work through, but it will be better in the end.
Anyways, please send a copy via wetransfer.com to [email protected] and I’ll make sure my code doesn’t break stuff. 😉
@dreamdeveloper I’ll reply to your emails directly.
Hello,
I have the Ekommart theme. I updated the Redux Lite today and my theme is broken. When I activate, I get wordpress critical error and cannot login to the site. When I deactive, the features on my site are broken. Please help me.
@msmesut Your bug is different. This is actually not a Redux bug, but a WooCommerce bug that Redux exposed. Update to WooCommerce 4.4.1 and the problem will go away. I reported the bug with their team last night. 🙂
You can read all the details here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/27394
Thank you very much for your interest. I could not find version 4.4.1 of Woocommerce. I updated the latest version to 4.4.0 today. But thank you for your advice. I reinstalled the previous version with Woocomemrce 4.3.3, my site has been reopened. Thank you so much.
Glad to hear it. Have a great day!
