I’m having trouble referencing points scored in a subcategory. I have multiple nested subcategories. An example of one is below:

    Microsoft Excel
    –Introduction
    —-Formatting

I’m trying to retrieve the points scored for the formatting category by using %CATEGORY_POINTS_microsoft-excel_introduction_formatting% but nothing is returned? Is my syntax incorrect? I am using the slug names separated by underscores.

  • Hi Joelgw,

I request you to please use the category name as it is not the slug and then check. Please check the given link of documentation and follow it. Do let me know if you still face the issue.

I am using this syntax in my Results Page:

You have scored %CATEGORY_POINTS_microsoft-excel% points in the Microsoft Excel Assessment.

My category name is Microsoft Excel and the category slug is microsoft-excel.

The result that I get on the Results page is:

You have scored 0 points in the Microsoft Excel Assessment.

This happens no matter how many questions are answered right/wrong.

Please let me know if I am doing something wrong.

    Thanks.`
