Refresh files pdf uploaded

    Hi, i installed your plugin but i have a problem with the refresh (i try to explain myselg better): if i load new PDF files if i click on the link (i had to use the raw link because the shortcode doesn’t seem to work inside buttons created with Elementor) i get the old pdf until i refresh my browser. Ther is a solution?

    Hi, thanks a lot for the report.

    But just to be sure there are two problems:

    1. Shortcode does not work insight elementor
    2. The link is not updated until you reload the browser.

    to 1) will have a look.

    to 2) not sure if I get you right, but how I understood you this is normal behaviour. If the page is loaded, you have the current link in the frontend html.

    Then you change the link in the backend. That does not change the current link in the frontend html. The frontend html is updated as soon as you refresh the browser. And this is not a Problem, because all new user will get the new link. Only this user which are on the page at that moment when you changed the link have the problem. but this I would not fix because effort and benefit is in a very off relation.

    Unless I got you wrong.

    HI Nikel,

    concerning point 2: it is true that every NEW user will get the updated file. But if the user has visited the link before and doesn’t clear his browser’s cache, he will see the same file until he refresh the page or clears his device’s cache
