Hi! On my client’s website, I want to take a % of the sales he makes on his sales, so I think I’ll need both his Stripe account and my Stripe account, correct?

My question is, if one of his clients requests a refund, what happens? Will Stripe take my % and my client % and will refund the customer?

    Hi @caramella1123

Thanks for reaching out about the Split Pay Plugin. Please kindly refer to our documentation here for further details on this topic:

    https://docs.splitpayplugin.com/faqs/transfer-reversals-refunds

The screenshots of the Stripe Dashboard may be slightly outdated, but the information remains the same. Refunds must be handled manually on a case by case basis.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

I believe so, yes. Any transfer reversals will create a negative balance if you have a zero balance on your account.

Refunding the transaction and initiating a transfer reversal are 2 separate actions. Both must be completed in order for the full balance to be returned.

The best way to check it is to run a TEST transaction by fully configuring the plugin in TEST mode.
