I’ve gone through everything on this support page, and on a dozen other links for this topic, and nothing has worked. It ALWAYS comes back with “Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.” in the damn red box. It’s really starting to p*ss me off because everything is working perfectly except it itself.

I have the latest WordPress installed, with a Twenty Eleven child theme and the following plugins: backupbuddy, bulletproof security, simple lightbox, TheThe Image Slider, and WordPress SEO.

PLEASE HELP. It’s driving me absolutely crazy.

    Form is here http://bit.ly/19vdz0y

Test if your WordPress installation is able to send emails

Try going through the “forgot password” function on wp-login.php.

Do you get the email? If you don’t you will need to rectify this.

The WordPress Codex gives some guidance on this at http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/FAQ_Troubleshooting#E-mailed_passwords_are_not_being_received

I’m having the same problem and I did indeed get the “forgot password” email from wp-login.php

I can’t think of what changed that would break this. It was working great previously once I added WP-Mail-SMTP. My only guess might be the somewhat recent installation of W3 Total Cache, although I’m not sure if that was installed before or after the form broke.

    Any suggestions?

Fixed it: Seems to have been W3TC. Uninstalled both that and Contact Form 7, then reinstalled/reconfigured both and it’s working now. Was sure to set my contact page to not get cached. Problem solved.
