The conversion seems to work on desktop only. When I check on mobile, the images are still showing PNG and JPG. What is the cause?

Go to the blog post on Android mobile.

Save any image inside the content on your mobile.

It should save as Webp. But its saving as PNG/JPG.

It is successfully working on desktop. But the same is not working on mobile.

@shreen2008 This is not normal – this is how it works in Android. When you download a file, the original is downloaded. However, images in WebP and AVIF format are loaded on the website. You don’t have to worry about it.
