Sorry for the noob question…

But, if you regenerate to a shorter URL from that URL currently indexed, what happens to the indexed ones? 404?

Hi @fouldsy99,

Generally, Permalink Manager will automatically redirect the native permalinks that were used shortly before the plugin was installed:
