Regenerating RSS files

    When I started my blog a couple of months ago, my posts were getting picked by PubSub, Feedster and the rest. My new posts no longer get picked up (for the last month). I have a feeling my RSS file is the problem, even though it does not show up any errors with a validator.

    I used to cut and paste from Word and I read that can screw up the RSS. However when I validate it, I don’t get any errors. If I delete my RSS files, will WordPress regenerate them on my next post, or do I have to do that manually?

    The RSS output is generated dynamically when the <your-website.com>/feed URL is accessed by anyone. So whenever anyone visits that URL on your site, they will get the latest entries in RSS form.

    Looking at the RSS contents right now just seems to largely show the Permalinks to your articles and some excerpts.

    Check your settings in the Admin panel.

    I have Pingomatic set up. I also have done manual pings. Maybe this is not a feed problem. I can pull my feed into a reader. It seems the posts themselves are not getting indexed. So when I search on Feedster, I don’t see any of the posts from the last month (and other services as well).

    So maybe it is a problem with some garbage text or bad HTML in the posts. I started using the WYSIWYG plugin around the time this problem started.
