Thanks for reviving this plugin. Are you planning to include regex support?

I’m stuck using a different redirect plugin in the meantime (and searching for an nginx workaround for that plugin) because I need regex support.

Add that feature and this will be the only redirect plugin my team needs!

  • @tjkelly, I apologize for the delay. Been a little swamped with the day job.

I have time set aside for this afternoon to devote to troubleshooting the issues everyone’s brought up, so I will be doing that, and hopefully continuing development of v2 today.

(I think someone else also requested this, so I’ll dig into that and see if it’s smart to do so)

@tjkelly, I had to go back to the original plugin for the answer here… quoting @prophecy2040 (original developer of this plugin)…

The plugin does not handle expressions and has not wildcard features.
You should look into using .htaccess if you need to do pattern matching – it is a lot less resource hungry.

Going to mark this resolved, since this is not an option that can (nor should be) supported.
