• Hi, we are using Payment Plugins for PayPal WooCommerce and we’ve had a small number of customers complain about a weird region bug in the Paypal/WooCommerce process.

    It seem if they select Payment by Paypal before filling out their location our website gives an error message saying their region is not supported.

    But if they fill out their location details first then go through Paypal the transaction works fine.

    Is this a know bug or configuration issue?

    Thank you for contacting Payment Plugins. Typically the most common reason for the shipping error is either a network request failure or you have a plugin installed that’s responding with invalid data.

    The response to that shipping address update must be in JSON but some plugins echo text or html which results in an error.

    Were the customer’s addresses similar in any way? For example, same country, postal code, city?

    Can you confirm the exact messaging of the notice? And did it appear in the PayPal popup?
