I’m using the shortcode [cmplz-document type="cookie-statement" region="eu"], but the front-end still shows: Region UK not activated for cookie-statement.

This message appears even though the UK region is disabled and EU is selected as the default. It’s being output raw, with no wrapper or filter to suppress it.

Would it be possible to suppress or handle this more gracefully in a future update? It seems like this message is intended for admin/debugging purposes and likely shouldn’t appear on the front-end. Since it’s not wrapped in a tag or class, I’m also unable to hide it with CSS.

*the images I am adding don’t seem to be visually here.

    Hello @mymothersdaughter ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

This message usually appears when two shortcodes are present on the same page: one for the UK region and one for the EU region. That’s why you’re seeing the “Region UK not activated for cookie-statement” message.

I tested this behavior locally and got the exact same result. Here’s a quick screenshot showing the same scenario (and yes, on the WordPress forum it’s not possible to upload images directly)

Please double-check the page to see if there’s a second shortcode present somewhere (for example, in a block, widget, or template). Once removed, the message should disappear.

Could you verify this and let us know?

    Best regards,
    Antonio
