register button does not continue to create an account

    Hi Ultimate Member,

    I am having issues with not having anyone able to register on my site.

    I have Ultimate Member 2.1.10.

    When a visitor fills out the registration form and clicks the register button it just refreshes the page. And at times when I have tried and refreshed it shows a red block “the response is no longer valid: either is too old or has been used in the past”.

    I have checked all settings and do not have any caching, up until this recent update, it has worked without issue.

    Aside from the update, no new plugins have been installed.

    Can you suggest any other areas or things to try?

    Please check with your hosting provider and check if they have any server-side cache or mode security active.

    Thanks for the message, I have checked and mod security is not enabled and there is no cache for the pages in question.

    Hitting a blank with this.

    This issue can be due to some conflicts with your theme or one of your plugins.
    Please do a quick conflict test so we can rule out any conflicts and see if it helps.
    Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test.

    Thanks for coming back to me.

    Do you have any knowledge with a theme issue with the simplent theme on WordPress?

    I have read through some previous posts and have looked at caching, server and browser, have recreated the form, checked all setting, even did a rollback in case woth no avail at all, still acts in the same way. All the steps work in the sense that I can log in, I can add users manually but when someone registers via the form, it sends the post request but just reloads the same register page with the details still there.

    There have been no errors at all, everything is showing as a 200 code from a network point of view.

    We have had this theme for some time up until roughly last week everything was working as it should.

    Do you have any other suggestions, would be greatly appreciated?

    I have done a conflict test with plugins that have updated recently as the plugins we have has not changed for a while.

    Sorry for the late response.

    Could you please tell us if your Register form has no Email Address field? If so, could you try adding an Email Address field and see if the issue still occurs?
