• Hi,
maybe it’s none of advanced, but I can’t find the way to let people register in my blog which is based on Responsive theme.
How can I make appear the registering possibility?
    Thanks.

At Settings > General in your site’s Dashboard, check “Anyone can register” and save.

Right, well, I had missed the line… thanks.
Well, ok, I have hoped registration could make people identify theirselves better, but I was wrong. I try to explain better: I would let people simply comment without registration, but it’s hard tell between spam/trash or true messages, evene if there are spam detections tools. In comment form people simply are asked to write a “Name” and and “Email”, and the name is often a nickname and the address could be easily fake.
Ok, thanks to registration they are obliged to give a real address, but then they enter the back end of WordPress, and I don’t want this.
Is there a way to make people give verifiable information, without obligeing them to enter the back end? For instance, I myself never am interested in “painting” the back end of a blog of someone else, or a platform, etc. I wwould simply give my comment.
    Thank you.

All they can do in the back end is fill out their profile, nothing more.

If you don’t want them to do that, use this plugin: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/remove-dashboard-access-for-non-admins/

Yes, this way people must provide a real address without entering the back-end.
    Thank you.

Now I would like to ask this:is there a plugin that let the comment form be a little more precise? For instance, instead of just Name and email, there could be more fields to fill out, like Name, Family Name, Country, etc.
I wouldn’t like to modify the code, because my customization is likely changable by the upgradings.

I’m not aware of one for that myself.

    Thanks anyway

    Hi.
I took away the possibility to post comments, but comment form appears anyway.
    How can it be possible?
In Additional CSS I left some rules for this form, in case i want to show it, but in Settings I chose not to show it, so I guess it shouldn’t be visible. What am I missing?

Ah, ok, this happens with old posts, got it.
