P.S. how to I also approve when someone adds their business info, so I don’t get spammed? And will I get notified if they add?

    Thanks

    Hi,

with the core plugin you can only submit listing in the default location (1 city). If you want to add listings in multiple locations you will need the multilocations add-on https://wpgeodirectory.com/addons/multilocation/

You can moderate listings in geoDirectory >> design >> listings >> New listing default status

As far as the WordFence errors, We have plenty of users using WordFence and non ever reported that error.

I believe you should require support to the WordFence author.

    Thanks

Hello again!!! I just lost 2 customer to my site because NOW they are telling me about this issue:

“Looks like I can only add an address if the zip code is in Mebane?

    Thanks!”

Mebane is where I live, they live in different states, what is the purpose of this module if I can ONLY add one listing per my town???

So I need to pay $45 to do anything more then this, what the heck man!!?

WordFence is commonly used throughout ALL my sites and YOUR plugin is the ONLY one I’m having trouble with!

    I’m supper bum out!

    Hi,

I’m sorry about the inconvenience, but in the description of our product, we do make it super clear that the core plugin only allows to submit listings in one location.

We also specify that we have a premium add-on for multilocations. Selling premium add-ons is what make the project sustainable. Or you expect everyone to work for free?

You just needed to read carefully, before installing it, to avoid getting frustrated.

As far as the wordfence error, you probably just need to turn off php warnings. Those are not fatal errors. Please see this : https://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/faqs/help-i-get-a-php-warning-on-my-pages/

    Thank you

You should have made this clear and I don’t expect you to work for free but a directory is a directory why would anyone put this on their site per the basic and no ability for companies to add their info?

I’m used to Boonex and have a GREAT directory/places module as you can see on my Gold-Prospecting.org site and I paid 1 time and all is done, no confusion.

I will be willing to pay the $45 so my customers can add their info, is there anything else I need to buy/worry about before I do this and make this final etc?

So you have a special right now for ALL add-ons

“Get all Addons & Themes bundled and save 75%
Only $150, including 1 year of support, updates and all new products released.”

I think $100 is fair, just out of my budget?

I also seen something about turning this into a yelp like site and better theme which I’m using the base theme is this apart of this package, again, its confusing.

Hows does this work if they don’t have the listing on the site etc. as I know Google API is pretty advance and feeds business listing etc. how would this work for a little web site like mine?

    Hi,

we have a package at $85 for 6 months of updates and support.

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/geodirectory-subscriptions/

Our plugin doesn’t fetch bulk data from services like Google Places or similar. Scraping their api to rebuild “copies” of their services is against their terms of service.

    Thanks

Hello, I see you have a package for $60 for 4 months which is more in my budget? Will this give me all I need to get additional locations/business to add to my/ your Geo Directory and meet all I need.

How does a company claim their listing if its not showing yet? I see Google Places has business already started and you claim the business how does your plugin work with this?

    Thanks

    Hi,

all plugins and themes are included in all subscriptions. What changes is the amount of time for which you will get support and updates.

    Thank you,

    Hello, sorry for the delay.

I would like to do the same as this person asked,

Q: I’d rather pay more and get lifetime support and updates, is that possible?

A: Yes it is, you can buy individually all the add-ons and themes here: http://geodirectory.themetailors.com/. For each add-on and theme bought at full price you are entitled to lifetime updates and support.

So, back to the orignal issue here it looks like I just need this https://wpgeodirectory.com/addons/multilocation/ what else do you feel might be needed looking here
    http://geodirectory.themetailors.com/
    I like the

    http://geodirectory.themetailors.com/

Whoop – WordPress Directory » <= what the difference here from yours etc. can you explain this?

AffiliateWP Integration <= how does the bring traffic?

GD reCAPTCHA <= very important, but should be free?

Social Importer <= important, but where do the social events etc. show up send example?

Custom Google Maps <= very important as I want the ability when different Solar companies come to submit either they are installers or
suppliers etc. and need different icons.

    Thanks

    (@paoltaia)

    Hi,

whoop is our product too. It is just another theme built for GeoDirectory that looks like yelp and is integrated with Buddypress and bbPress.

AffiliateWP Integration is an integration and requires AffiliateWP to work: http://affiliatewp.com/. Here you’ll find more info on affiliate programs and how they can bring traffic to your website: http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/A/affiliate_program.html

If you intend to launch an affilaite program you’ll also need the prices and payments add-on for GD : https://wpgeodirectory.com/addons/prices-and-payments/

GD reCAPTCHA is not free, noly the core plugin is. All other add-ons are premium.

Social importer simply imports listings into GD. It will also import events if you have the events add-on installed and they will look just like events submitted directly: http://wordpressmu-3822-8567-17899.cloudwaysapps.com/try-geodirectory/events/

Custom Google Map is to change style to the maps, you don’t need it if all you want is to assign different pins for suppliers and installers.

    Thanks

Hello and thanks for the quick response… 🙂 FYI, my site is coming up nicely for “Solar Directory” etc. and will be showing everyone soon your product, any way to get a deal for this lol?

    See below for my answers/questions:

whoop is our product too. It is just another theme built for GeoDirectory that looks like yelp and is integrated with Buddypress and bbPress.

<= Can I see an demo of this? What is the advantage of using this over the standard?

AffiliateWP Integration is an integration and requires AffiliateWP to work: http://affiliatewp.com/. Here you’ll find more info on affiliate programs and how they can bring traffic to your website: http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/A/affiliate_program.html

<= I have heard of this bringing some nice traffic, I’m currently doing paid and organic back-link wheel high authority etc.

If you intend to launch an affilaite program you’ll also need the prices and payments add-on for GD : https://wpgeodirectory.com/addons/prices-and-payments/

<= I don’t have one, I feel I should have one as it can really bring traffic, but do I need to per the above answer/question to get traffic?

GD reCAPTCHA is not free, noly the core plugin is. All other add-ons are premium.

<= Okay, need protection for sure!

Social importer simply imports listings into GD. It will also import events if you have the events add-on installed and they will look just like events submitted directly: http://wordpressmu-3822-8567-17899.cloudwaysapps.com/try-geodirectory/events/

<= Okay, maybe for later, sites new and just blogging getting rankings up for now.

Custom Google Map is to change style to the maps, you don’t need it if all you want is to assign different pins for suppliers and installers.

<= I have created different pins as you can see, is that all I do if I don’t but custom Google Maps?

    Thanks

    Hi,

you can see a demo here: http://wordpressmu-3822-8567-17899.cloudwaysapps.com/wordpress-directory-theme-whoop/

It’s a different theme with different graphics and more focused on reviews like yelp.

For the affiliate program it is really up to you. If you think webmasters in your field will be interested to promote your directory for a commission, then you should consider it.

Custom Google Maps is only need to change Maps colour. Stuff like this: https://snazzymaps.com/

Custom Map Markers are uploaded for each category and the Custom Google Maps add-on has nothing to do with that.

    Thanks

    (@aquans)

Hello and thanks again for prompt response!

The review/directory like Yelp is cool, can I add this later I will try this first https://wpgeodirectory.com/addons/multilocation/ if I like? When I install this, I can customize the logo and colors to look more like my site? If I do this, will I still need additional plugins & still need https://wpgeodirectory.com/addons/multilocation/

I can promote my sites directory for affiliate? Sorry, just briefly hear of this, is it possible you can send more a place where I can learn more about setting this up?

    I understand the rest, thanks!

    (@paoltaia)

    Hi,

yes you can do all that.

If you have the Prices/Payments add-on, AffiliateWP and our AffiliateWP integration, yes you can.

Please see here for documentation: https://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/ and please post here for any further support question: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/

    Thanks
