• my web site was recently hacked, so I restored my web page and database.
The web site now has the following Warning Message:

Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘register_shortcodes’ not found or invalid function name in /home/gymbaroo/public_html/test2/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 496

I think it has something to do with the Gravity Forms Plugin Directory, as removing this directory on another of my web sites I get the same Warning Message.

I also can not enter wp-admin mode to be able to edit anything.

Can someone help with resolving the warning message?
Im guessing the plugin.php can not find the register_shortcodes function, but Im not sure how to fix it.

    Cheers,

I have recovered my web site after lots of work and many days.

However I am still getting the php warning message appear in my errorlog file.

Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘register_shortcodes’ not found or invalid function name in /home/gymbaroo/public_html/test2/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 496

It is not causing any apparent problems, but I would like to resolve any underlying issue.

Is there anyone who could possibly assist in finding the culprit?

    Regards,
    Jeff

I have disabled all plugins, and the error message still appears every time the web page is refreshed. Im guessing this eliminates a plugin issue.
