I have deleted the plugin completely, and reinstalled from scratch.
I am unable to repeat the error on WordPress 3.6. What platform are you using?

At the end of october I have written an article about “count down timer” because some blogger use them as “Christmas Countdown” :-).
now WP 3.8, but if I’m testing plugins I use the nightly buildts and the current version of WP.
But this doesn’t matter because””Notice: register_sidebar_widget is deprecated since version 2.8!””
Maybe you can’t see “notices” only “errors” :-).

I do not use register_sidebar_widget. I use register_widget, which is not deprecated.
