    Hey Everyone,

I’ve been using WordPress for some time now to host my sort of online magazine thingie (Intermicronational News Service – don’t ask). Compared to other platforms like Blogger, and even WordPress.com, the .org version stands out in a class amongst its own.
However, a few days ago someone told me that their e-mail containing the password to their account on the service never came through. Thankfully, this problem was highlighted before release – if we discovered it after it’d have created a lot of problems for us!

I tried to register another test account and it didn’t send the activation email to me, either.

I was wondering if anyone can help us; if anyone can help us at all.

    Cheers,
    Will

  • and what do you see when YOU attempt to have a new passowrd sent to you via the lost password option?

Thats the hint to your problem.

The e-mail could not be sent.
Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function...

Search the forums, its asked and answered.
