• Hi,
My site runs on WordPress + bbpress + Buddypress environment. But the problem is when a user is registering for a site, the email sent to them looks like,

    Dear User,

Your new Domain name Sites site has been successfully set up at:
    http://[User Set].Domainname.com/

You can log in to the administrator account with the following information:
    Username: [User Set]
    Password: [User Set]
    Log in here: http://[User Set].Domainname.com/wp-login.php

We hope you enjoy your new site. Thanks!

    –The Team @ Domainname Sites

Please help me to solve this.

What’s wrong with that? [User Set] is what the user sets, right?

There is no wrong in it but many users including me hope for the username and password to be sent by mail for future access. Thats why im asking. Is there a way to solve this?

    Sorry … what?

hope for the username and password to be sent by mail for future access

I don’t understand what you’re trying to SOLVE. You want the username and password to be sent by email? It was. You just said so in the email above:

You can log in to the administrator account with the following information:
    Username: [User Set]
    Password: [User Set]
    Log in here: http://User Set].Domainname.com/wp-login.php

Are you saying you want the user password to be auto-generated by WP instead?

    I will explain the process,

    1. User lands on my site and goes tp wp-signup.php page
    2. Select his username and password and creates his site.
    3. An activation email is sent to users email inbox
    4. Then after activation, a welcome mail is sent as said above.

Now I wanted the username and password set by the user at the time of registration to be sent in the welcome mail instead of showing [User Set].
