I have had WP Members plugin running for a while now and then recently I stopped receiving the registration email (admin and client) when ever a new user registers. Why would this be?

There is an extensive FAQ that covers email troubleshooting as well as possible solutions:

The ideal solution is to just make sure you use an actual SMTP account to send all your WP emails through. That solves just about every problem people usually have (information on this is covered in the FAQ).
