Registration form not recognizing password entry

I tried to see if I could find any previous info on this issue but couldn’t.

My registration form does not seem to recognize that a password has been entered, so when you try to register it spits out an error message:
“Please enter a password”, even though the password has been entered into the correct field and the validation field. The link format I’m using is: http://www.mysite.com/wp-login.php?action=register.

I have tried numerous password formats and lengths, to no avail. Any help or suggestion would be sincerely appreciated.
