Registration function under buddy press does not work

Hi I have installed buddypress in wordpress version 3.0.4 the version of the buddy press is 1.0.2 and i am running the whole thing in IIS 6 under windows server 2003

I have been able to make every thing work but i have see that when i click on the sign up page (the register page), and fill in the information, and click on complete registration, then the only thing it does, is to refreshes the page, it neither registers the user, nor sends any email or come with any error message. it simply does not work. can any one help me please.
