    Please help me with the following:
    I need new users to register WP/BP and wait for Admin approval.
    Approval won’t happen immediately (maybe later the same day, maybe next day).

    So, can I redirect them back to the homepage?
    Can I set some default text on the registration page to tell them what to expect?
    If so, could you tell me how?
    I know default emails go out, but I’d like to explain the process up front.

    One thing to make sure is understood, we don’t prevent access to the site as a whole, we do prevent access, in varying levels, to the BuddyPress and bbPress areas of the website.

    If you simply have the “users must be moderated” setting checked, they’ll be able to read, but not interact with the BP/bbP sections. If you also have “Private Network” checked, then they won’t even be able to read, they’ll be sent to their own specific profile with a note at the top saying they’re still in moderation.

    The only time we do redirection at the moment, is if in private network. We would need to determine exactly when you want them redirected if doing your own solution.

    We don’t handle the registration page, that’s all BuddyPress itself, so you’d need to check their hooks and customization methods for that. We come in afterwards and after they’ve activated their account.
