registration verification link

    Hello Jeff,

    I have successfully used the registration form and it gave me an email. However, the verification link provided in the email is not hyperlinked, meaning that the user has to copy and paste the URL to the browser to confirm registration.

    Hi Peter,

    The plugin sends plain-text emails by default. To send HTML format (like for hyperlinks), you can enable “Enable HTML Format” and then customize the message using shortcodes. Check out the Email Alert settings for details.

    Ok, I think that works!

    But if I change my registered email address, the link is not hyperlinked (not clickable).

    The message is like this:

    Howdy wp_visor_user,

    You recently requested to have the email address on your account changed.

    If this is correct, please click on the following link to change it:
    https://www.visorsourcing.com/wp-admin/profile.php?newuseremail=4f3456d071625bf450a7490399f5857a

    You can safely ignore and delete this email if you do not want to
    take this action.

    This email has been sent to [email protected]

    Thank you. I’m not sure if I understand which steps I need to take in order to get the same results though. And also am not clear on which results to expect. Also, for sensitive matters involving personal/private infos (like email address etc) it is best to work directly with support channels instead of posting the info publicly in a forum such as this.
