The update was actually 3.4.5->3.5.1.
Am I the only one with this problem or the only one that noticed it?

I haven’t seen either of these problems before.
I can’t select rows on orders in backend. Before when clicking a row the background turned pink and the buttons Increase stock and Decrease stock appeared.
It sounds like this is a plugin that stopped working, as this hasn’t ever been a WooCommerce core feature. I recommend taking a look through your list of plugins to see which plugin may be offering that functionalty – once you know, you can follow up with the plugin’s developers.

I fired up a clean WP install and installed WooCommerce 3.4.5 and the feature I’m talking about is indeed there with not other plugins active!
I then updated to WooCommerce 3.5.1 and the feature is gone! I can’t click order rows any longer and the buttons below to delete row or reduce/increase stock is not appearing.
This was a really good feature. Is it gone by purpose or is this a fault?

Thanks for showing me exactly what you meant!
Testing using WooCommerce 3.5.1, I was only able to edit the order line items when the order status is on hold (which matches the example in your screencast) – at that point, you see an edit option when hovering over the row:

I don’t see any mention of changes to this behavior in the changelog:

There also don’t seem to be any issues related to it. Can you please log this as an issue?

OK, I’m not talking about the edit function. As you can see in the video the whole row is highlighted

I think this was a great feature to be able to put back into stock in an easy way (if changing from one size to another) or remove from stock (if the item was faulty).
I’ll log an issue for this.

@ben72 I too used to use this ‘feature’ a lot.
It was also really useful being able to highlight rows when refunding specific items out of a large order.
Hopefully it will be reintroduced.
@fernashes I will check out the Github discussions now…
Hmmm… doesn’t look like it will be restored.
Shame, it was really quick and useful for things like editing an order for exchanges.
