Regsiter New User without using wp-login.php

Dear All

I have created an article submission type site. I want everything to run from the page and do not want the user to be redirected to the wp-login backend. I am using the SideBar login widget which works for me perfectly. I.e. If a user tries to login without entering any details in the fields, they get a “in widget” error as apposed to being re-directed to the wp-login page(the backend). So onto user registration. I am using WP User Registration which is great if the user fills in ALL the fields, but if they miss a field or leave the form blank and just click the register button, they get re-directed to the backend defualt wp-login page, which I dont want. If it just errored within the widget like the sidebar login, that would be great. Can anyone help please? Thanks.
