Regular Modied File List, Errors or Regular files?

    hello Author From the date of installation i have been receiving these updates notification regularly.
    Are they regular utility updates by wordfence or malicious?

    Hi hardikproblems,

    These belong to the Wordfence Firewall and will continuously update as your Firewall does it’s work. 

    wp-content/wflogs/attack-data.php
wp-content/wflogs/config.php
wp-content/wflogs/wafRules.rules
wp-content/wflogs/rules.php
wp-content/wflogs/ips.php

    This one looks odd. There is not supposed to be a “public_html” folder in your wp-includes folder. Have you accidentally made a copy of your whole site and placed it in wp-includes?

    wp-includes/public_html/wp-content/wflogs

    These are all error logs. That they are updated indicates that there are server errors happening on your site. You may want to look at these files and analyze the errors. 

    wp-content/bps-backup/logs/http_error_log.txt
wp-admin/error_log
error_log

    This one belongs to “updraft” plugin. If you want to know why it is changing you would have to contact the authors of that plugin.

    Thanks for your rapid response,
    regarding updraft updates they said the changes not done by their side.
    Then who and why those files have been changes and most important why Wordfence is allowing this change.
    And now in these days im not getting dashboard/notification to restore the edited file. (I did it once) but not nowadays.
