    Hi,

I like to reinstall Woocommerce completaly so I can start from 0.

However I don’t seem to get it right. When I delete the tables, pages (also empty trash) and woocommerce I get the same settings pages after. I also went to Woocommerce – status- and rebuild the default pages but nothing seem to work.

    Thanks for helping me!

    Hi there,

Thanks for explaining what you’ve tried so far.

Before we go any further, could you help us clarify what exactly you’re still seeing after reinstalling WooCommerce and what you’re trying to reset?

    For example:

    • Are you seeing old WooCommerce settings (currency, tax, shipping, etc.)?
    • Are you seeing existing products, orders, or customers?
    • Or are you referring to the layout/design of WooCommerce pages (Shop, Cart, Checkout)?

It’s worth noting that WooCommerce itself does not control page layout or design. The appearance of pages like Shop, Cart, and Checkout is handled by your theme and/or page builder, so reinstalling WooCommerce wouldn’t affect that part.

    Once we understand:

    • what data you want removed, and
    • what content or settings are still appearing,

we can guide you with the correct next steps without risking unnecessary data loss.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your time!

It is the 3th example. Layout, and links. I styled them with elementor.

I did some styling on the, for example the account page. When I go to the check out page I get the same as the account page. It is a bit messet up so I like to start with a fresh install to start over again.

    Hi @stefanpeeters,

Thanks for clarifying! Since you’ve customized your WooCommerce pages with Elementor and they’re getting mixed up, the issue isn’t with WooCommerce itself but with your Elementor templates and page assignments.

Here’s what you need to reset:

    In Elementor:

    1. Go to Templates → Theme Builder and delete any WooCommerce-related templates you’ve created (Single Product, Shop Archive, Cart, Checkout, My Account, etc.)
    2. Go to Templates → Saved Templates and remove any WooCommerce page templates

    Reset WooCommerce page assignments:

    1. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced
    2. Set all the page dropdowns (Shop, Cart, Checkout, My Account, Terms) back to their default WooCommerce pages
    3. If needed, go to WooCommerce → Status → Tools and click “Create default WooCommerce pages”

This will give you clean, default WooCommerce pages without your Elementor customizations, so you can start fresh with your styling. The pages will use your theme’s default WooCommerce templates instead of your custom Elementor ones.

I hope that helps. Let us know if you need anything else.
