    still there are other youTube parameters i’d like to pass and it would be good to have a generic box for them in the settings page. For example modestbranding=1, or showinfo=0

    The plugin already features some parameters: theme, color, showinfo, rel, fs and origin (automatically set). Beside those parameters it makes use of time links.
    I am planning to add modestbranding in the next version.
