Relationship Field and Post Types

    I’m creating a couple of relationship fields with Custom Field Suite. I would like to limit these fields to specific post types.

    I have created several custom post types with Custom Post Type UI — Issues, Products, Authors, Ads.

    The problem is that when I create my relationship field, not all of the post types are listed. I only get “post”, “page”, “attachement” and “issue”. So, it’s leaving out my “product”, “author” and “ad” types.

    All of the post types have the same settings (just different names). “Issues” was the first custom post type I created, and it is showing, but the others are not.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    For any future travelers:

    I figured out the problem here. If a custom post type is marked to not be searchable, it won’t show as an option for the Relationship field in Custom Field Suite.

    Makes sense. The more you know…
