Relationship field – stored values

    I’ve added a relationship field and checked how values are saved in postmeta.
    This is what I see: https://imgur.com/a/d0nwYxJ

    So there’s one entry with serialized array of IDs, and there are X more entries, one for each relationship item.

    Is it possible to change this behavior and disable storing those extra entries for individual items?
