• Hello,

I am using the Uncode theme on my site, and the Relevanssi plugin is activated but search is not producing results.

I have already added the code for the Yoast SEO fix to the functions file of my theme, but this did not fix the problem.

The contents of my theme search.php file can be viewed here: http://pastebin.com/B85QYXDW

    Thank you.

Nothing wrong with the template, as far as I can tell.

Have you built the index? Does the “State of the index” show correct numbers? Have you tried disabling other plugins to rule out conflicts?

    Hi Mikko,

The index is showing correct numbers and is now producing results.

One problem I have now is that if I search for a custom post type titled “p1” it does not show in the results in the frontend but it does show “p1” as a successful hit in the backend. If I change the title from “p1 to “Property 1” it will show it in results.

Similarly, if I search a custom taxonomy such as “retail” it will not show results in the frontend but will count the hits as successful in the backend.

By default, Relevanssi doesn’t index words that are shorter than three characters. If you haven’t changed that setting, there’s an explanation for your problem there.

Are you sure the search is powered by Relevanssi? If you change Relevanssi settings drastically or disable Relevanssi, do the results change?
