I am running Everest Backup since a while. After deleting old backup files I recognized there is one file that remains listed but is undeletable:

    xxx-de-1702517754-2d61a1fbbb.ebwp Backup file corrupted/incomplete

Tried deleting using the red “delete” textlink as well as the dropdown menue. This file is 6 GB and I need to get rid of it.

    Any workaround known?

    Thanks

    Bernd

    Hi @menschenmedien ,

This usually happens when a backup process gets interrupted or the backup file becomes corrupted/incomplete during creation. In such cases, the plugin may still keep the backup entry listed even though the backup process was not completed properly.

As a workaround, you can manually delete the file from your hosting control panel using File Manager or FTP access.

    Please navigate to:

    wp-content/ebwp-backups

From there, you can manually delete the file:

    xxx-de-1702517754-2d61a1fbbb.ebwp

After deleting the file manually, please refresh the backup page and the entry should disappear.

We will also improve the cleanup handling for corrupted/incomplete backup files in upcoming versions to avoid this issue.

    Thanks
    Prabin
