Remove Avatar section from admin

    I have a site where users can upload and setup there avatars in another area in the admin by a plugin. So the avatar area in admin > settings > discussions doesn’t do anything and will confuse users. It doesn’t have a CSS class so I can’t remove it by CSS. Does anyone have an idea how to remove it.

    Any help appreciated.

    I don’t recommend removing it, that would involve modifying core files, with is very dangerous.

    That section can only be seen by Administrators, so unless you’re giving everyone administrator powers (also not a good idea), you have nothing to worry about.
