Hi,
Thanks for the question.
You can remove the breadcrumbs from SEO Settings > JSON-LD > Add Breadcrumbs Schema in Json-LD
https://howto.squirrly.co/kb/json-ld-structured-data/#breadcrumbs_schema

I removed the breadcrumbs in the settings but the breadcrumbs are still showing.
Please see this page

It also says that the breadcrumbs are off in the settings https://snipboard.io/pBe1mr.jpg so why are they showing?
Thanks
Hi,
I checked the breadcrumbs and they appear in the theme and not in Squirrly SEO plugin.
The theme is adding breadcrumbs tags as shown in right top corner

Check if you have the option to remove the breadcrumbs from the WP theme.

If I just hide the breadcrumbs with CSS and I have the breadcrumbs settings as OFF with your plugin does that mean they won’t show up in the google search results?
Or do I need to switch them off with a theme settings too (not sure if that is possible)?
Thanks
You can check with:
https://search.google.com/test/rich-results
to see if Google reads the breadcrumbs from the theme.
This way you’ll be able to check when you do changes on your website.

Can you please explain how I can see if Google is reading the breadcrumbs?
I searched in the rich-results and tested the url.
Am I looking under Sitelinks searchbox for the word breadcrumbs?
If not what should I be looking for.
