Remove Cache option could be dangerous?

…Is it safe to use “–exclude-cache” option and, right after restore, clean up WP Fastest Cache’s cache to be sure?
Should it be safe enough or issues could still occur that you’re aware of…? That option can save up to 1-2GB on backup files with some sites, but I’m not sure it’s 99% safe.
