Anyone? This is driving me crazy! The client wants nice, bright photography.
Thanks in advance!
Hey there,
You can achieve what you are after by adding following custom CSS to your theme using Advanced CSS Editor plugin.
.site-header{
background: none;
}
Hope it helps.
Thanks for your reply, Suyogya, but that wasn’t the solution, it was already set to none. After I posted, I examined all the code for the theme, and found out the custom-background-container had a default image which was causing the cast. I changed the PNG file to transparent and that solved the problem! Thanks again.
Hey there,
It wasn’t set to none 🙂 I think you didn’t use the plugin to add it, instead you added it directly to theme’s style.css In that case you should’ve added an !important attribute. Our plugin does this automatically.
Cheers! 🙂
Well, it’s pretty clear you aren’t trying to help me solve my issue, just sell your plugin! Ironically, I DO have your plugin and it was useless in this case because 1) It only edits the child theme, not the parent, and 2) The problem wasn’t in the CSS, which, if you’d bothered to read my response, you would know, instead of shamelessly pushing your product.
I’m now going to report this to WordPress. Have a great day!
