Remove category in permalinks

    Hello Benjamin,

    Thanks for your plugin 🙂

    I noticed an issue with the option “remove /category/ in your permalinks”:
    In fact, it does redirect /category/wordpress/ to /wordpress/ BUT, for example, when using wp_list_categorie() the generated url in the code is still /category/wordpress/…

    And I’d like to suggest a feature: “disable authors archives” 🙂

    Hi,
    yes it’s totally normal, we do not change permalinks, just a 301 redirect (this is the recommanded way by WordPress VIP to handle this).

    About your suggestion: this feature has just been coded a few days ago and will be integrated into the v2! Same for disable date archives 🙂
