Remove date, author and comment ?

    Hello

    Congratulations on this theme.
    A question :

    How to remove the date and number of comments in articles?

    Thank you for your help because I tried this code in the css:

    .entry-header .entry-meta {display: none; }

    This code does not work!

    What code to css to simply remove the date and number of comments, thank you.

    There are two variants to remove date output and number of comments.

    1. If you use child theme (what is preferable). Copy file content.php and delete line 23 with code

    <span class="date"><?php the_time(get_option('date_format')); ?></span>

    and line 25 with code

    <span class="comments"><?php comments_popup_link( ('Comments', 'basic').': 0', ( "Comments", 'basic') .': 1', __("Comments", 'basic').': %', '', ''); ?></span>

    2. This variant only hides date and number of comments, in html code they will remain. Add the following code in CSS:

    .meta .comments, .meta .date {
 display: none;
}
