Sorry to hear you are having trouble! I would like to help you out, but you can always go to the Video Thumbnails page in Settings and then click “Mass Actions.” Then you can click the “Clear Video Thumbnails” button to delete all thumbnails created by the plugin.
I have 15000 videos, would this be wise?
How long would that take?
I deleted 2400 media files and used the delete feature to take care of the last few and custom fields and then rescaned posts.
I had 3000 posts befor I used the delete feature and now the’re only 1700!
Now I know I had 3000 post as I ran a scan very recently. What could of happened.
Does your site use multiple post types?
Ok, I may have caused this by accidently pressing reset plugin in ayvp.
If I delete tumbnails using FTP and then used clear thumbnails will this also remove all database tables aswell left from using FTP to delete thumbnails?
If I delete tumbnails from media library, the ones where video thumbnail has added to post that do not contain a thumbnail, then use scan thumbnails will this return those posts to using default.jpg instead of showing a missing image.
How long would it take to clear 15000 thumbnails, using clear thumbnails?
